Important Reminders Regarding Covid Safety Measures

UpdatedThursday April 1, 2021 byLena Richards.

We at HV are so excited to get the spring ball season going!

In order to ensure the safety of our players, umpires, coaches, and parents so we can continue with the season, we ask HV families to remain vigilant and compliant with this important information. Please remember that these protocols are in place to protect everyone and ensure that we can continue to operate safely. These protocols are based on Buncombe County and the Governor's Mandate and can change at any moment. We will revise based on those recommendations.

All parents should have received a form from your coach that is required for play by Buncombe County. If you have not yet turned in this form, you must do so prior to the first game.

  • Masks are not required for players during an active game. Masks are required at all areas of HV.
  • Gloves and helmets should not be shared.
  • Balls will be sanitized between innings.
  • Bats and catchers gear will be sanitized by the owner or coach after games.
  • The backstop and bleachers are not accessible by spectators. Please be sure to bring your own chairs. Spectators should sit with their own households. In order to socialy distance players, the dugout and bleachers will be used for players only.
  • Anyone with a temperature of 100.4+ should not come to the HV facility.
  • We will have pre-packaged food only at the concession stand.
  • If you tested positive for Covid and may have exposed others, immediately notify the coach and board@hvrpsports.com.
